I am running Oracle 6.x.x on a NeXTcube. As users log in and use Oracle resources, the oracle account spawns additional processes. How can increase the maximum processes a user may run? > Other Changes > > The following additional changes have been made to Mach kernel since > Release 1.0. > [stuff deleted] > The maximum number of user processes per uid has been increased from 40 > to 60. > [stuff deleted] > I realize this is a modification of the kernel and probably not going to be acceptable, but maybe someone has a hack. :-) -- Neil Greene Director, Computer Information Systems ARCI, Inc.
