Why does my .sig show up twice in posting?

I posted to a newsgroup via NewsGrazer, and my .sig showed up twice in  
succession at the bottom of the posting. I than checked "ignore .sig" in  
NewsGrazer preferences and it still shows up once (which is actually what  
I want, but seems incorrect). Anybody know what is going on?

Hey, couldn't we make this a FAQ???

Well the solution is inews (/bin) -- this program appends the
signature as well. To stop inews from doing that, outcomment the
lines with "sed 4q $HOME/.signature" in it.

inews places the .signature by itself. posting is actally done by inews, not  
Newsgrazer !
