ppp from home NeXT to office Sun

Hello,
I would like to set up a ppp link between a NeXTstation OS2.1 at
home to the department's Sun network (should have been a NeXT network,
but that's another story). I was going to hammer out the details this
semester, but, unfortunately, pressure from above regarding my
dissertation has put such time consuming projects off to the side.
(Ain't it always the case? :-)
So... is there some very kind soul who can detail the steps
necessary for setting up the connection? If it is a lot of work to
outline this then, obviously, never mind. I have the latest (I think)
version of ppp. I also have all of the RFC's that I could find.
Unfortunately, I haven't had time (and won't) to search through these.
If someone has this I would be most appreciative. (Maybe even name my
next child (or pet) after you? :-) Otherwise, I stick with kermit. (I
haven't even had enough time to learn zmodem, et al.)

Thank you very much,

I would find this helpful as well. My situation is similiar, but I need
to access Merit's network. I'm sure if I understood the docs on the
PD PPP stuff better I wouldn't have a problem, but they seem to assume
a whole lot.

Well, I'm the one responsible for the ppp port to the NeXT. I don't
really have time to support it or write docs for it. If you want,
I'm willing to help you with any setup problems you have, for a small
fee.
