Stained Glass Software Inc. is still in business and is doing
mostly contract work. MIDIapolis Systems purchased the
rights to Calendoscope in October and we are currently
adding enhancements and improving the interface and
fixing bugs (it was one of the first apps for NeXT and is
pretty bug free). The program will be released under the
name DayTripper (tm) and will include all of Calendoscope
features plus additions. If you have any suggestions
regarding what features need to be added, please email
or phone. I can't promise they'll make it into the first
release (later this month) but we hope to release version 1.1
of the program in the first quarter of 1993 that will
make DayTripper a more full-feauter calendar program.
DayTripper features include:
Personal and group calendars for list, day, month and year.
Ability to add voice and text attachments to appointments.
Visual, Sound, and email alarms.
Ability to enter recurring appointments (i.e. every other Friday,
3rd Friday of each month, 3rd Friday of each month, etc.).
Hard copy, on-line manual, and on-line button help.
More features but I don't want to waste bandwidth so watch
for an announcement of DayTripper's release in the next
couple of weeks.

Most probably what happened was that my brain went Chap. 11 instead. I'm glad to hear that Calendoscope is getting revived as Day Tripper -- except for the fact that it took up 80% of your screen space :-), Calendoscope was a fine application. Hope to see more competition in this arena so people won't keep bugging me to update Cassandra. - Jiro Nakamura Tech Editor / NeXTwatch -- Jiro Nakamura jiro@shaman.com (NeXTmail) NeXTwatch / Technical Editor 76711,542 (CIS) The Shaman Group +1 607 277-1440 (Voice/Fax)
