printing accounting utility available?

I connected an PostScript printer on NeXTstation's serial port.
I set the account file (property "af") to /usr/adm/recycle.acct,
which is like this:

   1.00 ccnext:jypai
   1.00 ccnext:jypai
   1.00 ccnext:jypai
   1.00 ccnext:jypai
   1.00 ccnext:sjchang
   2.00 ccnext:jypai
   1.00 ccnext:cp78083

But then we need to write a program to do the accounting and
write another program to prohibit users who exceed their quota.

I wonder if there's such an utility available somewhere?

For simple printer accounting summaries, check out /usr/etc/pac -m.  It will  
take the stored printer accounting such as the information above and produce  
usage per user.  I.e.,

jypai   	6.00    5   0.12
sjchang 		1.00    1   0.02
cp78083		1.00	1   0.02
