HostManager.app does not work

I need some help. I just upgraded to 3.0 and now HostManager.app and  
UserManager.app do not work.

The only thing that I can think of is that my SLIP software is messing it up  
somehow. When I configured the SLIP connection you must do it as a Non-NetInfo  
network. Maybe that's the problem (BTW, I am using Marble's Teleconnect).
Also, when I launch NetInfoManager.app it brings up the SLIP conecction.

Any hwlp would be greatly appreciated.
