Hello All, I recently upgraded one of our cubes to 40MB RAM (8 4MB chips, 80ns and 8 1MB chips, 100ns). This machine is an upgraded 030 with a 600MB external and internal and has a ND in (we are running two headed). When I tried to reboot the machine after the memory upgrade, I got the message SCSI:msgout phase over and over and the machine would not boot. Also, the machine would lock up frequently on users whose accounts were on that machine but the machine would work fine for users whose accounts are not on the machine. This seems to be an intermittent problem. I reseated all the cables and the samething. Has anybod y seen this problem before and does anybody know what causes this? Thanks for any information, Daniel Shelton (dan@ennex1.eng.utsa.edu)rade, I got the message SCSI:msgout phase over and over and the machine would not boot.
