Cube, 68040, 24MB RAM.
1 MAXTOR 330MB internal, 1 DEC DSP 3105 (1G) external, bootdevice
Currently the MAXTOR is not seriously used, except for backup of some data.
I cam considering making it a swapdisk. I know 330MB is a lot (I normally do
not exceed the 16MB lowat mark. But I ask myself if this separate disk might
improve any swapping performance with respect to the Dec that holds the root
file system also. De DEC is faster, but it has other tasks as well. Any
suggestions? (Like: sell me your MAXTOR for $ xx)
Thanks,
