HOW?: Mikrodisk 1030 by Mikropolis to NeXT

Hello,

I got a Mikropolis disk model "Mikrodisk 1030"
(Drive type: MICROP 1598-15MD1066701).

How I could attach it to NeXT and say builddisk to it ?
What should I to do ? If you have attached the same kind of disk to NeXT
or you know how to do it, could you help me. Thank you.

It seems to be formatted and scsimodes says:
	SCSI information for /dev/rsd1a
	Drive type: MICROP 1598-15MD1066701
	512 bytes per sector
	71 sectors per track
	15 tracks per cylinder
1928 cylinder per volume (including spare cylinders)
	8 spare sectors per cylinder
	45 alternate tracks per volume
	2031553 usable sectors on volume

I have no disktab entry for it.
What kind disktab entry should I build for it ?
Should I do something more ?

As you see I am a novice in these kind of thing.

I got few ansers. Thank you all.
It was so simpel !!
Now it works fine.

Here is David Apfelbaum's answer:

====
Attach it to the NeXT (while the NeXT is powered down!!!), boot the
NeXT, log in, the workspace should try to auto-mount it. If it needs to
be initialized the workspace will offer to initialize it for you -- you
say YES. You can also select the disk and run builddisk on it. No big
deal. (If no disktab entry exists, one is automatically figured out
(for SCSI disks only!))

Problems arise when this system doesn't work. (Usually bad terminators
on the SCSI cables, or a hardware incompatibility problem...) If this
occurs, please send another post, or email me...

Good luck.

P.S> Be sure the drive power connector is attached, and, if external,
the power switch is turned on. BY ALL MEANS DO NOT CYCLE THE POWER ON
THIS DRIVE WHILE THE NEXT IS RUNNING!!! (IE, TURN IT OFF OR ON.) (This
will really only apply if it's an external drive, but......)
