More /usr/lib/sendmail problems?

Am I going nuts or what?

I did /usr/lib/sendmail -bz, thinking I would create a frozen
configuration file. Well, it did. But now when I do

/usr/lib/sendmail -oi -oem -t < file

I get Bus error (core dumped). Bummer, huh? When I deleted the
/etc/sendmail/sendmail.fc, everything worked fine again. Anyone else
seen this?

From the NeXTanswers:
sendmail crashing frozen configuration file

Q: The sendmail on my NeXT computer is crashing with a bus error when I start
it up. Why?

A: If you have a frozen sendmail configuration file
(/etc/sendmail/sendmail.fc), our sendmail will crash. This limitation is
documented in the hard-copy Release Notes for 1.0.

Frozen sendmail configuration is also not supported in 2.0.

QA424

Valid for 1.0
Valid for 2.0

Hope it helps,

Lga.
