Can't double click on shell scripts under 3.0

Now that the 'shell' functionality is taken out of the Workspace, the Workspace
relies on Terminal to execute shell scripts that are double-clicked. Well, if
your default window runs emacs or some other non-shell like program, it just
seems to wait around forever before executing the script. I think it is waiting
for emacs to exit. Anyway, Terminal becomes permanently hung and you need to
kill it.

You can no longer double-click on shell scripts and expect them to execute.

Oh well..Is anyone else having this problem?
