HELP Upgrading 030 to 040 Turbo (Exception #5)
#1735

I am trying to install an 040 turbo board in a formerly 030 cube.
When booting it passes the system tests, then says bsd(0,0,0)
booting from sd0a etc, but then the screen very quickly prints
some information and then clears itself leaving only the line
exception #5 pc (then some addresses).
Does anyone know what exception #5 is? I'm running system software
2.1.
Just as the screen clears itself I can barely make out the lines
trap 2 pc (etc)
[a bunch of numbers
 for a few
 lines]
sdmach() Command failed

but it clears so quickly it's hard to read exactly whats printed.
A friend suggested booting up again from the 030 and doing
disk -b /dev/rsd0a to rewrite the boot block but this seemed to
have no effect.

Any solutions please email to jayh@woof.music.columbia.edu
Thanks very very much
