I've been trying to compile Crack for mrcnext here for a bit, but it keeps
telling me that crypt is an incompatible version:

pwc: Nov 23 17:27:19 Crack: A Sensible Password Cracker v3.2a by ADE Muffett, 1991
pwc: Nov 23 17:27:20 We are running on networked machine jg.cso.uiuc.edu
pwc: Nov 23 17:27:20 Version of crypt() being used internally is not compatible with standard.
pwc: Nov 23 17:27:20 Versions of 'gcc' have been known to cause compatibility problems.
pwc: Nov 23 17:27:20 If there is another reason for this, edit the source to remove this assertion.
pwc: Nov 23 17:27:20 Terminating...

I've played with the Makefile to my heart's content, but no dice. Considering
all I have is gcc, I sure hope that's not the problem.

Has anyone gotten this to compile, or does anyone have a suitable replacement?
Any and all help is much obliged!
