No Sound - please help

Well I came in this morning and my NSTC makes no sound. 
I checked in preferences and mute is not selected.

Any ideas?

MORE info: on powerup the sound test fails with error code: e2

Well, NeXT is sending out a new motherboard for Motorola to install.
Apparently my sound chip is dead - bummer.
Anyway, case closed thanks folks.
