Dump complains about inodes - any ideas?

Hi,
On one of our NeXTstations we are getting consistant dump errors on
the internal disk. The error from DUMP looks like this:-
DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
DUMP: Found FASTLINK inode with di_size too big
DUMP: NEEDS ATTENTION: Do you want to attempt to continue?: ("yes" or "no") no
DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted.
Can anyone give me a clue as to whats causing the problem and how I
get rid of it. Fsck does not cure this - the disk is clean!
[Following question: the reliability of this machine has dropped -
presumably this would explain why??]
