For no apparent reason, the little colour globe from /Net is not there anymore. There was never a .dir.tiff under 3.0 that I noticed, but for some reason it's just gone. Any ideas on where it went and how to get it back? Thanks, Scott

The icons that Workspace use are all in /usr/lib/NextSteo/Workspace.app (and WM.app within it). As I recall, the commonest reason for losing icons on home and Net folders was if you were using the large file system option; could this be it? Apparently the problem was that autonfsmount was not behaving properly. Every now and then when I reboot I see: autonfsmount: Can't get my address. No furhter explanation, but there seems to be positive correlation between that and the missing /Net icon. I'm not mounting anything on startup though, so I don't know what it is complaining about. -- EMAIL: S.A.McIntyre@durham.ac.uk OR scott@shrug.dur.ac.uk (NeXTmail) SNAIL: Pyschment of Departology, University of Durham, Durham, DH1 3LE SUN Computers: "Nice chips, shame about her OS" "If a virtual tree falls in a virtual forest, does it make a virtual sound?"
