I recently upped my physical memory to 32 MB. I vaugely recall someone
suggesting that the swapfile should be at least as large as the physical
memory. NeXT has a default lowat of 20 MB.

Should I increase the lowat to 32 MB?

This does not seem necessary, since the swapfile will grow
automatically. You will probably have very little swapping (except if
you use Mathematica). You may, however, want to increase your hiwat
if you have set it.
