Hi,

I'm trying to back up to a MAXSTREAM 250Q and nothing
seems to work.  I tried tar -c ./etc and got the error:
/dev/rxt0: I/O error.  Then I tried the dump command --
dump 0u ./etc and got the error: bad sblock magic number.

Can some kind UNIX expert tell me what to do or suggest
something?  I tried more /dev/rxt0 and the light on the
drive came on... I don't know if that makes any difference.

Please reply to me and I'll summarize if there is interest.
