(Posted on behalf of Robert Nicholson, who now has a working NeXT, but no news feed. Yet). I am currently trying to get INN up and running on a NeXT under NS3.0. I have the following questions: 1. Am I supposed to install the new syslogd (it currently will not compile) 2. With signal() defined as returning a "void" innd doesn't run. However, when I define it as returning "int" innd works but every signal() results in a warning. 3> If I just want a basic news and mail feed via SLIP to my host how do I go about setting up the configuration files. Is my type of feed a "filename" feed? 4. Do I use LOG_LOCAL7 or LOG_NEWS for syslog.conf's entry? 5. Is rnews -U the only way spooled news items can be sent? That's it...
