I have a big problem... the IXKit mailing list I maintain has gotten too large for sendmail to handle. I have tried "daisy-chaining" aliases using both NetInfo aliases and sendmail aliases, and both produce the same results. Please post or send me info on how to create large aliases... thanks in advance, andrew -- andrew@cubetech.com | "We cannot dwell in the time that is to come, Andrew Loewenstern | lest we lose our now for a phantom of our Cube Technologies, Inc. | own design." - Erendis 0000000701B61D1ADF0DFC9C16185CEA055200000007EB4A9FEB1922065D471A89E905B5

Try the undocumented include feature: (documented on suns ...)
(It works for Ultrix too, I'm just [right today] testing it on the NeXT)
The syntax for the aliases file:
<alias-name>: :include:<path and file name>
In NetInfo add a new value with the syntax:
:include:<path and file name>
where the values in <> are to be set appropriately. Then enter all the
names/addresses, one per line, into the file specified by <path and file name>.
Sendmail will then parse the file - so you don't even need to rebuild the
aliases when you make changes!
