Has anyone experienced trouble using NetInfo and Multiple Groups? I have a situation that I have defined 20 groups within an single directory. The groups are defined with the root netinfo. The groups are: engl1:*:301:jjones,user1 engl2:*:302:jjones,user2 engl3:*:303:jjones,user3 engl4:*:304:jjones,user4 engl5:*:305:jjones,user5 engl6:*:306:jjones,user6 engl7:*:307:jjones,user7 engl8:*:308:jjones,user8 engl9:*:309:jjones,user9 engl10:*:310:jjones,user10 engl11:*:311:jjones,user11 engl12:*:312:jjones,user12 engl13:*:313:jjones,user13 engl14:*:314:jjones,user14 engl15:*:315:jjones,user15 engl:*:300:user1,user2,user3,user4,user5,user6,user7,user8,user9,user10,.. .user20 engl16:*:316:jjones,user16 engl17:*:317:jjones,user17 engl18:*:318:jjones,user18 engl19:*:319:jjones,user19 engl20:*:320:jjones,user20 I defined the group using niload. Originally I setup about 15 of the groups. I then added the additional 5 users. The original groups were recognized (I could use the groups to add read/write permisson to jjones). After, I added additional groups. I have had problems trying to access the additional groups (i.e., engl16...engl20) without any success. Is there any limitation to the number of groups you can define? Is there a limit of characters that you can name groups? I have had this problem before. I had to rebuild the network copy of the NetInfo and started to rebuild it from scratch. Any information would be helpfull. Thanks -Victor Quevedo
