I have an old Next Box running system 1.0 and I am having
trouble getting it to receive mail.  It will send mail out   
no problem, and I generally have no trouble loggin onto
other machines from it or vice -versa.  The main problem
I have is that I cannot seem to receive mail in any of the accounts.

I cannot open the mail manager program (I try as root, but it gives
me a window which only says ".exiting") I try to use NetInfoManager
and I get a NetInfo Error saying "Domain selected failed to open".

Also the machine will not accept remote logins to root, only to
a user account.

I do not know where to go from here, I get no support from
the company in the use of the machine nor will they give me the
$ to upgrade it. (I'm only here as a summer intern).  The mail people
don't know whether they should list my machine as being uucp, smtp, etc?

Any suggestions?
