Has anybody gotten Taylor UUCP 1.02a or 1.03 to work with NeXTOS 2.1? Call out is fine but call-in gives loads of problems. mainly two: a dropped connection after a call in gives signal INT or RDWR instead of HUP. the port stayes blocked after a call-in and one has to do TIOCEXCL on it to get it working again. People running tUUCP on call-in NeXTOS 2.1 systems are hereby invited to react and to help. Thanks, -- wierda@ltb.bso.nl (Gerben Wierda) || I speak for myself and not for my employer. I've been running Taylor for about a month and it's been working fine. I installed 1.03 on saturday morning. The only problem with 1.03 is that dialup seems to be fried now. When the modem gets a RING it picks up then __immediately__ hangs up. So fast that the line keeps ringing. I can't figure it out, and I can't seem to fix it, but from looking at the lights I think getty is sending something to it... I'm pretty sure the port isn't blocked since when a dial-out completes DTR goes low and the modem resets, etc... Sending SIGHUP to process 1 doesn't fix it either... andrew -- andrew@cubetech.com Andrew Loewenstern | "listen: there's a hell of a good universe Cube Technologies, Inc. | next door; let's go." --- e.e. cummings
