I know a person who's responsible for his company's computer  
strategy, 
the company are evaluating several platforms at the moment, but I try
to push them towards the NeXT. They have some specs. that _have_ to
be fulfilled, or the NeXT is out of the question (this could be a  
sale of
maybe a couple of hundred machines during the next few years)
I wonder, are there solutions for the following functions on the  
NeXT, and
what are the limitations of the solutions.

* 3270 terminal emulation (heard something about 3270Vision) together  
with
  IBM 5250 terminal emulation (AS/400), these two emulators must be  
able to
  coexist.

* Workstations without disk booting from a server

* Some sort of GUI-development toolkit that enables you to create a  
GUI for your
  mainframe or AS/400 apps.
  (There are a couple of these for the pc-windows and pc-os/2  
environments..)

I'd be grateful if someone would help me out with these questions,
