My Next Station Turbo Color will reboot and do everything
ok except give me a login screen.  I can get to it over
the network and it appears to be funcitoning alright, except
for ths rather serious problem.

Please help!

Login can't find something, probably a font.  Make sure  
that /NextLibrary/Fonts exists, is readable, and has the  
same files as the comparable directory on another machine.   
If that doesn't work, compare the rest of /NextLibrary

See man page on diff.  Export the root directory of the  
sick machine, then you can use diff to compare directories  
in one fell swoop.
