I've just heard that when you do a tape backup of a Novell networked 
system, that the backup cannot save the settings that Novell has such 
as various log scripts and users etc. Is this true? Is it true only for 
some tape backups or for all tape backups? And why? This would be 
terrible news if my server crashes and I have to start from scratch 
recreating users, scripts etc. It also makes no sense.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Inquiring minds want to know.
