Greetings - Running ACAD R12-DOS locally and want to save .DWG (drawings) to the network. With previous version of Netware only gave users WRITE access so they could copy their homework there, but not READ it. It worked perfectly! Now we've upgraded Netware (sorry, don't know version) and when user tries to save a .DWG it just writes numerous 0-byte .ACL files to the directory, but no .DWG! However, we can "shell" out of autocad and copy the .DWG to the Netware directory with no problem. Also we can save from AutoCAD if we grant both WRITE and READ access. We have AutoCAD setup to put TEMP files in C:\TEMP. Any ideas? We're stumped! Thanks, Charlie ;/)

In fact, C is all you need if they upload once and can't change it later. If you look at group EVERYONE's access to MAIL, you will see this. This permits all users to create (send) mail messages in any mailbox, but not read them.
