Good Morning/evening,

Our mac clients do not "report" the right space available on
out Novell 4.02 server. Our server has partitions of 2 GBs but
the macs sees them as 1 GB. The macs are using 7.5.

Any help will be greately appreciated,

Thank you,

Dante

Dante,

The NetWare for Macintosh 3.12 and 4.x "lie" to the Macs and report a maximum
of 1GB of available space because the Mac OS versions below 7.5 cannot have
partitions greater than ~ 2GB. They use a signed integer to calculate free
space, and volumes over the limit report negative size. There is nothing wrong
with your configuration.
