I have an olde OPUS card made to run Unix on old IBM's using an NSC 32032 co-processor. It cam with 1 meg of memory on its card, plus a daughter with another three megs. This was the largest memory available as a factory option evidently. However, reading in the docs, I noticed in "OPUS.CFG(4)", that it mentions a way to specify a different amount of memory, in fact it uses 8 megs as the example, although it doesn't bother to explain how to get the extra 4 megs (I'm assuming it takes it from the computers onboard memory?). Also, in the documentation to another similar card from another company, also vending 4 megs max, it mentions the 32032 can address up to 8 megs. So, I was wondering if anyone out there has done 8 megs on an OPUS. If so, how is it done? Does just setting the memory size in opus.cfg automatically allocate 4 megs of system memory from the hostboard?
