I am a little confused about what the current state of the art in rom monitors is. We have the original WBC monitor, we have the "autoboot monitor" and we have the forth monitor. How would the people invloved in the two latter monitors like to sumarize the current status (features and robustness I suppose). Also, if anyone has written a standalone bootstrap loader which understands the 4.3 BSD file system (you know, the equivalent of /boot on Suns) I am interested. Currently my bootstrap loader is the kernel, but this hardly seems like a good long term solution. It makes it difficult to try new kernels for one. Ian
