Just a thought, it might be easier and cheaper to pull the ethernet
related parts from a no-name 8-bit ethernet card. I am looking at a
8-bit board marked "DFI NET-300" which schematicly is nearly idential
to the et532 design. If I am not mistaken, this board goes for around
$80.00 US. Such a board would get you:
DP8390CN (socketed on the board I am looking at)
DP8391AN
DP8392AN
20Mhz CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR MODULE
2VP5U9 - ISOLATION SWITCHING 9V POWER SUPPLY
PE-64103 - ISOLATION PULSE TRANSFORMER
BNC - BNC COAXIAL CONNECTOR
DB15 - 15 WAY D CONNECTOR
6264 - 8KX8 FAST STATIC RAM
plus a bunch of 74XXX, resistor packs, capacitors, etc...
