dp8490 - can a am53c80 be used?

Hi, at the moment I'm trying to get the parts I need to build my PC532. Can I use a am53c80A (which I have) instead of a dp8490? What is the difference between the 2681 and the 2692? Matthias (leo @ marco.de)
