This message is to serve as a general warning about buying Palm
products here in Asia and attempting to find service providers here in
Thailand. I am writing this because of severe difficulties I have had
with Palm-Asia, and the very significant expense I have incurred.

I will in a later post recount all the events, including costly repeat
calls to Singapore and the United States, all for nothing.

But for right now, be warned that buying a palm is a very tricky
business here, and you will not get real help from Palm Technical
Support in Singapore if problems arise.

My recommendation is DO NOT BUY A PALM IN SOUTHEAST ASIA. DO NOT
EXPECT SERVICE FROM EITHER PALM HERE, OR IN THE UNITED STATES.

Moreover, given what I have experienced, I strongly urge you to not
buy a palm at all. They do not stand behind their product. They
provide no meaningful help once you have purchased the machine. Try
another brand.
