I was using a 6150 along with my Palm IIIx until last month, and the only things you can transmit by IR are logos and SMS. I used NokiGGE for the logos and there's a couple of apps for SMS management, but no contacts sync. Note that you won't be able to use the 6150 as a modem by IR, since this phone has no built-in modem. You need a special cable and software from TDK, the Global Pulse connection kit. The 6150 is a good but old phone now (launched in '98). Try to get hold of a more recent one with a built-in modem (6210, 7110, 8210, 8250, 8810...). /max

The 6110 and 6150 are outsiders in the IR world. AlanJC nobody.special@crapvirgin.net Cut the crap if you want to reply!

The 5110/6150 IS NOT IrDA compliant. >It has IR capability, but it's not compliant to the IrDA standard that >other phones use. The 6110 and 6150 are outsiders in the IR world. Not any more. There has been an interprerter available for PalmOS for some time now that attempts to bring folks in the 61xx lepper colony back into the real world. Do a search on http://www.palmgearhq.com DJ!
