**There were some guys at the last Sydney CES, who were demo'ing a package
(which included a GPS), for the Palm. I may have the brochure somewhere. Or
not.

I don't think the Taliban had heard of Australia until that dipstik
from the ABC asked their rep in Pakistan if we were a target.

Then again, a large part of the refugees that Australia refused to admit
after their boat sank were fleeing from the Taliban controlled Afghanistan,
so apparently Australia isn't totally unknown.
Something tells me that if that event had come *after* mid-September,
Australia would have opened its arms for the refugees...

Yeah, what a tragedy. Pulling your ostrich (well, kiwi) heads up from the
sand so you can't "hide" anymore. Welcome to the world. Sorry to hear that
it's too big for you.

Well, unfortunately, we don't actually have an air force
anymore, but I'm sure your lot won't mind rescuing us, will
you? The Taliban don't read this group, do they?

About a week ago, TVNZ's lead news story claimed that we
were sending a frigate to Afganistan. Yep, sending a frigate
to fight a landlocked country is an absolutely brilliant
idea. This is yet another illustration of the mindless
drivvel that TVNZ calls news, and the halfwit audience who
laps it up. ROTFL!
