After looking at:

I notice that there was a ROM socket.  This seems to be a MAC ONLY ROM
slot.  I certainly hope not, because if it is not, then the KickStart ROM
can be used.

So can the KickStart ROM (ported PPC version of course) be put in there? 
Or does it have to be made to some unknown standard?  Or is this an Apple
only thing?
