A history of Win95:

93 - Chicago will be a fully 32 bit, pre-emptively multitasking
environment
93 - Chicago will be the 2nd coming of Christ
94 - We're not sure when Christ is returning
94 - Chicago will have a little bit of DOS in it, but it will run
everything
95 - Win95 will not multitask 16 bit apps. Save your $ for 32 bit apps
95 - Buy NT. It's what you really want
95 - Yeah, it's just an upgrade. Yeah, it's got a lot of DOS in it. But
it's as easy to use as the Mac!

And the people rejoiced greatly and bought it anyway!
