With today's powerful computers is it avaible for most people, > so it DOES compete with MacOS. Dream on. The only systems competing for the desktop market are Windows 3.1, Windows 95, WinNT (to a lesser extent), OS/2 and MacOS. Try to get a Fortune 500 company to use UNIX as its desktop OS. Try to convince the average home user that UNIX makes sense for them. UNIX is a great system. For server applications and some specialized needs, it can't be beat. For the majority of desktop applications, any of the above systems beat it hands down. -- Regards, Joe Ragosta -- 100% Chemical and proud of it.
