Fine. Have your toys. 99.9% of the people who buy computers are not
interested in your 386 machines built from used parts.

Big deal. You're not making much of a case. You can buy a Performa 5200
complete (including software) with a PowerPC chip for considerably less
than this. In fact, you can buy a PM 7200/90 with monitor for less than
the Fry's price for a 486 for Pete's sake.

You really ought to try to enter the real world. First, users are able to
perform a number of upgrades on their Macs without voiding their warranty.
Second, there are several choices, including PowerComputing, Radius, and
Daystar. Finally, most people prefer one-stop shopping. Very few people
want to buy a computer in pieces. They want to place one purchase order
for a computer and have it work. The odds are better if one company
handles everything.
