You will all probably call me anti-MS, paranoid, etc., but:

Haing worked in a computer store (as that vile creature, a
Sales Rep), and seeing the difference between MS Word 6.0 for
Power Mac and MS Word/Win, I have to wonder -- is there perhaps
deliberate sabotage going on here?  Or is it just *really*
boneheaded design (e.g., Microsoft wrote dialog box code of
their own, instead of using the normal calls like every
intelligent software vendor does).  Also, I hear they use
machine-generated code, which for some reason doesn't work too
well with RISC.
