No?? Why is there at least two kernels then?  One for single processors,
one multiple processors?  NT detects how many processors you have and
installs the right kernel.  Sure any multithreaded OS prefers to have more
than one processor, but saying "You can not buy a version of Windows NT
that is not optimized for Multi-processor machines." is *absolute*
rubbish.
