You are so full of bull shit. It is a completely different
program.
I'm not a Windows pusher, but at least get your facts straight.
there is pretty much nothing in common between wfwg, and win95.
Any one who says so is a completely off thier rocker. About the
only thing in common between the two is the copywright owner.

have you viewed the Msdos.sys, you fuck. it's a text file
in win95. Boy you are a total foot in the mouth looser.
I hat Microsoft, but I hate big mouths that have no clue more.

The 32 bit streaming is so totally different than any previous
windows progs. how can you compare a menu program like Windows 3.x
to an os.

>Well, short cuts are more or less fancy PIF files.
>Installable file systems, wow that is fantastic. How about
>shipping a decent file system with the OS???

The idea was to make the transformation from dos as glitch free
as possible. Win95 is a transition program. It is ment to
move Microsoft users to Windows NT, or what ever they decide to
call it when the two { win95 , NT } meet.

>New Video Sub System. WOW that is great. Something I REALLY

how about a brain, you could really use one.

>Win95 has most of the architectural flaws of Windows 3.x.
>It doesn't protect programs from each other.

please explain. if you understand what this means.
give me a real technical explanation.
I know, I just want to know if your just spouting off.

>It doesn't protect the OS from programs.
Again please explain. With some tech talk.

>It's multitasking is not up to current standards.
and just what is current standards, as far as $89.00 OS's go.
Don't hand me Free bsd, or Linux, there are not aimed at the same
market.

>It has resource limits not worthy of a modern OS.
Again, what do you want for $89.00.

Please explain this last statement. I really would like to know
why you think a blanket statement like this is true.
I'll give you a clue, your wrong.

not one of these statements are backed with any raw technical
data, Not that there all wrong statements. I just would like to
know if your a cloned windows hater, or if you really have some
Computer related background.

For the rest of the readers unfortunate enough to read this
thread, let me explain why I am so peeved.
I've been reading alt.2600 and related groups for some time now
they once were worth the time and effort to read all threads.
But at the present time these groups are filled with a bunch
of losers. Who do not get facts, they just read a few articles
get a few ideas and try to be COOL. I hat the windows product as
much as most of the people out here, but this is no excuse for
pure amatures { I'm no pro- but pretty damn knowledgable on the
subject } to be spouting off as if they were gods of the computer
world. It really pisses me off that I have to take an average of
1 to 2 hours to sift through what used to take 20-40 minutes, and
get half the usefull information. I can't even see a future for
ALT.2600 at this rate. Until now it has been the most informative
news group on the net, But it has gotten out of hand. I really
pray for someone or something to fix it. I will miss it.
Nuts and Volts, is not enough for me.
All I am asking is for the wanabees to sit and read for at
least 3 or 4 months B4 even posting. Maybe then they wont piss
people off who need some real information.
AND one more thing, This group has also become the
ALT.MY.OS.IS.BETTER.THAN.YOURS. gruop. I can't believe it.
689 posts since last night and maybe 100 interesting ones.

Please fogive me for spouting off but enough is enough.
and my Lithuanian side just got the best of me.
