	Speaking as a life-long computer geek (started on the trs80, 
which dates me...) and* an eleven year Mac user (just got my first XT and 
I love DOS, but my heart will always be with GUI) who just* got on the 
net... I think it has a lot more to do with time, than effort. There are 
those of us who have had the time/money/energy to learn about technology. 
There are some of us who have had the money/energy but noe the time.
	I am all in favor of access to information at all levels. I mean, 
if someone can't run DOS, WIN or UNIX, then why not hand them a Macintosh 
and say "Welcome." If someone doesn't understand graphical interfaces, 
why not show them a UNIX-based board and say the same?
	The monolthic "we all must compute in the same way" just doesn't 
turn my crank...
