Was the test a little bit rigged by not using the top-of-the-line Pentium 
system: 133MHz with pipelined-burst cache and EDO RAM?

Not that Apple is alone in rigging tests to "prove" their point. PC 
advocates will gladly point to Word 6.0 to show that a Pentium 
outperforms a 9500.

I still believe that a PPC601 is roughly equivalent to a Pentium and a
PPC604 is roughly equivalent to a P6. Specific comparisons will vary a
little depending on what you are doing. I'll give Motorala credit for
getting the 604 out before the P6.
