Why not?
Let me, again, beat the drum for the MCC 1.0+ distribution. The
only place where it's more complicated that the vanilla OS/2 Warp
distribution is that you have to decide what disk gets the linux
kernel (I am not counting the networking here, because as far as
I can tell, OS/2 doesn't have TCP and it's not fair to blame MCC
for asking questions about additional functionality.)
And, unlike OS/2, the MCC distribution (and, for that matter,
_any_ Linux distribution) will actually let you put multiple
operating systems on the same disk (unlike OS/2, where I had to
move the dos partition to another spindle so that the E-Z TO USE
OS/2 installation program wouldn't get hopelessly confused about
it.)
The single thing that the OS/2 installation does nicer than MCC
is that it will automagically detect a CD-ROM and go there to pick
up the installation stuff.
