So, you are saying that the ability for a developer to do something that
is perceived my many people as good on a Mac, that they can't do with a
'sane OS' is a bad thing? I thought most 'sane OSs' were considered so
because they allowed for certain control of the system - now you say
that's not true. 

So in no circumstance is it acceptable for an application to take over the
whole system?
