I don't know where you are getting your Mac info,  but when Win 3.0 showed
up,  multifinder was already *years* old.  I remember quite clearly
because System 6 was the big thing then,  and DOS users were telling me
their sour-grapes line:  "Who needs to run two programs at the same time
anyway?"  Apparently *they* did.  Heh heh heh!
