In article <DE1J2C.F5v@ssbunews.ih.att.com>, varney@ihgp1.ih.att.com says... > Ahh, but the question is: > > How many copies of 'CLOCK' can OS/2 and NT support on a single >display -- and how synchronized are their hands in analog mode. Since >Windows 3.1, I have only been able to do this by making copies of 'CLOCK' >(like CLOCK1, CLOCK2, etc.). With only 4 analog clocks, my sped-up 386 >has some second hands behind others by about a second. Even my 1985 >Amiga 1000 (with 7.8 MHz 68000) can do better than that. > Not knowing if this was a serious question, I tried running 8 clocks on my Pentium 66 8mb RAM with Windows 95. At first , they all seemed to be running at the same speed when I was running 6 clocks. I ran 2 more to see what would happen and the last two were off by almost a second (as far as I can estimate). I then minimized all the clocks and brought them back up again. Now, none of them were running at the same speed. Hmm. I wonder what's up with that. Oh, yeah. I haven't run into any problems with Win '95, but I also haven't been on the computer that much since college started...I did however find problems with the beta versions. Either they cleaned it up nicely, or I just haven't had time to test it. Probably the latter. Will P.S. Anyway, does anyone know how to change the Start button to say something else. I tried Regedit, but couldn't find what I needed to tweek it.
