This is pointless! Sounds like physco-bable to me. I do not think of all
end-users as dumb, just the ones that are.

: Indispensable?? I do not think that word means what you think it means.
: 99% of the people who use computers have been without it for decades.
: Plus, any so-called professional who says to me without first asking what
: I want to *do* with my computer would be right out the door.
So do you feel good about making up a number like 99%???
Maybee 99% in your shop, but not worldwide.
I do know what indispensable means, and I did use it in the proper
context. I have yet to meet anyone at work who could not use
PMT, because people have more than one task to do at the same time.
Most computing is done on mainframes. I have yet to see a mainframe
that does not offer some sort of PMT. This does not mean that such
a beast does not exist mind you, just that I have not seen it.
OOh, ah, right out the door. Well that would be the worst move you
could make. I suppose you would send Bill Gates right out your door
too? (Not that I care about Bill Gates.) I have yet to meet anyone
who could not use PMT. I guess you have no need for things like virus
checkers, system clocks, and multiple apps?
I would expect someone with an email address that ends in .edu to
be more sensible than this.
