Feel frame to flame Intel for this, but I just > don't understand why you think MS is to blame. Since the 68000 and the 68020 predate the 386 by several years it would qualify as pre-386. You can run 7.5 on an 68020 and on a 68000. They may not be as fast as a Pentium but they will current software. I can continue using my computer (an LC040 based Performa 575) for years before it becomes obsolete while all of you are replacing your 486s with Pentiums, then your Pentiums for P6s and them for P7s etc. -- Hotel California hotelca@cris.com
